We recommend halls made of hot-rolled I-beams with dimensions of up to 30 m in width, without internal supports and with unlimited length. They may include a steel tie between trusses. This results in a simple and durable structure with a gable roof up to 30 meters wide.

A truss structure delivers excellent results for wider facilities. It enables the construction of a flat roof resistant to heavy loads.

A plate girder structure also provides excellent results for wider facilities. It allows for the construction of a roof without tie beams, thus ensuring great internal usable height and resistance to heavy loads.

Anti-corrosion protection

To extend the lifespan of a steel hall and maintain its aesthetic appearance, it should be protected against corrosion. The most popular protection methods include:

Painting with epoxy or polyurethane paints. This most affordable option provides not only effective anti-corrosion protection but also a highly aesthetic finish.

Hot-dip galvanizing is considered by many to be the best type of anti-corrosion protection for steel structures. Although it is a more expensive and mechanically resistant method, it offers an effect similar to painting.

Zinc-rich paints are gaining popularity as corrosion protection. They involve using a primer with a high zinc content, followed by an additional decorative topcoat. This option is rust-resistant and easy to touch up.
